Red Lyrics and How I relate to them.

Here is a brief history of the band

Christian-based post-grunge outfit Red first got their start in Pennsylvania playing contemporary Christian covers to area youth groups. They soon grew tired of pop songs, however, and began crafting their own hard-edged rock tunes that often confronted personal issues from their lives. According to lead singer Mike Barnes, the name Red was chosen as a symbol “for the blood of Christ and what it represents: passion, pain, but ultimately, redemption.” Comprised of Barnes, Jasen Rauch (guitar), Hayden Lamb (drummer), and identical twins Anthony Armstrong (guitar/vocals) and Randy Armstrong (bass/piano/vocals), the group cited influence from bands like Chevelle, Linkin Park, and Muse. Spearheaded by the single “Breathe into Me,” their first nationally distributed album, End of Silence, was released in June 2006 on Essential Records. Always wanting to directly connect with fans through their energetic live show, Red spent the summer touring nationwide, including dates at multiple festivals. ~ Corey Apar, All Music Guide

Can I steal your idea, and make a page to talk about music too?

yea sure…..i’m thinking of re writing this page and making it for music in general. i would like to have a really ordered blog with different pages for different things but i dont know if they would show up for people as new “posts” so i’m not sure how far i am going to run with the idea yet. but sure you can do it however you choose.

alright thanks. Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking of doing. I don’t know… that would be something to find out. If not, I’d have to check every so often now wouldn’t I? For some reason, my “readomattic” won’t do you. I see you on it, and it says I’m subscribed, but it doesn’t show me your posts… idk why.

It’s fine if you delete this post, but I wanted to ask; how do you make posts under your pages???? I can’t figure it out! Like I made the music page, but I can’t find the “new post” option under any of my pages. How did you get yours?

what do you mean by it’s fine if you delete this post?

Ok for starters you cant add a “new post” to a page. you can edit the page but not add a new post. If you wanted to you could create another blog that would be your music blog and just link to it from your main blog.

To do it the way that i have this set up you make a new page for your main page thing…lets call it your table of contents or menu (make sure this is set to “main page (no parent)” under the Attributes section under parent {on the right side under the publish section}when writing the page ). then for each new song that you want to talk about create a new page. only this time make sure to change the settings under the parent drop down tab (the same place as before) to the title of your “table of content or menu” page….then it makes it a sub page under the main page. now what i also did to help for the ease of access is to put a link to each song that i have done on my “menu” page.

If you really wanted to you could break it down farther. have a main page talking about what you plan to do, then have a sub page under that for each artist that you do, then under that have a sub page for each song. that way you would be proving artist and song info to readers so that they would not have to go anywhere else to get the information. You could even copy and paste artist info from another site if you did not feel like writing it all out…just make sure you cite your sources ^_^.

Hope that helps if not let me know and I’ll find a better way to tell/show you.
